Wow. You really dug deeply into the dust bin to find these choral pieces. Not that they are not beautiful, but as an active choral/opera singer for 45 years I would have made many different selections. Consider the requiems of Brahms, Verdi, Faure, Berlioz and Jenkins, just to mention a few. And the Masses of Bach and Mozart. Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 or Vaughan Williams A Sea Symphony. I’m too busy singing at Carnegie Hall to expound further.
